The Currenex management team is comprised of experienced professionals with unrivalled expertise in FX, financial services, e-commerce and Internet businesses and markets.

Clifford Lewis - Chief Executive Officer
Clifford M. Lewis brings to Currenex more than 25 years experience in the international financial markets as well as a unique network of long-standing business relationships in over 30 countries.

Prior to joining Currenex, Mr Lewis was the Chief Operating Officer of BRIDGE eMarkets, a unit of Bridge Information Systems responsible for wholesale financial market transactions. Before that, he was an executive with CBOT and a Management Board Member for CBOT-EUREX Joint Venture, Inc., an alliance between two of the world's largest derivatives exchanges. From 1978 to 1991, Mr. Lewis was an executive with the World Bank Group, where he had various high-level strategic planning and operational assignments.

His experience also includes managing strategy, restructuring and technology engagements at leading banks, exchanges and clearing houses as a partner in the International Financial Services [Group] at KPMG Peat Marwick.

Articles by Mr. Lewis on a range of policy and technical subjects have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Atlantic Monthly, National Interest and other publications. Mr. Lewis is an active member of various advisory groups on international economics and finance at the Heritage Foundation Cato Institute and American Enterprise Institute and is a Fellow of Harvard University's Center for International Affairs.

Rodney Yoshida - Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Yoshida brings over 20 years' experience in financial services and banking to Currenex. Previously, Mr. Yoshida was the Director of Finance for EBS, the largest electronic interbank FX broker. Prior to EBS, he spent 14 years with Citigroup in a variety of senior finance and accounting positions.

Sean Gilman - Chief Technology Officer
Since 1987 Mr. Gilman has been a central figure in the development of industry-leading trading, market data, network and security systems. He oversees execution of the company's product strategy and the development of strategic alliances. In his career, he has focused on the development of order management, risk management and trader communication products. In 1987, Mr. Gilman founded Effix Systemes France which was later purchased by Reuters. Previous to Currenex, Mr. Gilman served as Chief Technology Officer for market data provider Moneyline/Telerate.

Chip Lowry - Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Lowry joined State Street in 1992 and worked initially in product development and currency risk management roles. Prior to joining State Street, he held positions in corporate finance and information technology with Alex. Brown & Sons, and in the financial systems consulting practice of American Management Systems. Mr. Lowry's industry activities include workgroup participation for FIX, CLS, and the Bank of England.

Mr. Lowry holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Trinity College (Connecticut), an M.B.A. from Yale University.  He is also a CFA charter holder from the CFA Institute.
